Pedro Luis Martinez, age 66, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Christus Muguerza Hospital in Monterrey, Mexico, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Martinez was born on February 8, 1952, in Laredo, TX to Juan and Aurora Martinez. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, living in Laredo, Texas, and spending time with his four children and six grandchildren. Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his brother Ricardo Martinez.
He is survived by his children Pedro Luis Martinez, Jr., Sabrina (Field) Harrison, Christopher (Clarissa) Martinez and Ricardo Martinez; and his grandchildren Field Christian, Camila, Christopher, Leah, John Mark, and Lauren; siblings, Rosa Garcia, Juan Martinez, Jr., Marie “Beca” Martinez and Roberto Martinez.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A prayer service will start at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, April 20, 2018, at Laredo First Assembly. Rev. Oscar Sacriste will be officiating at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
