Patricia Fuentes, 28, entered the gates of Heaven on, Wednesday, November 19, 2014.  “Patty” as she was affectionately known by her dearly loved family and numerous friends was preceded in death by her mother: Bertha Fuentes, brother: Marcos Rolando Fuentes, maternal grandparents: Jose (Macedonia) Rocha and paternal grandparents: Andrea Del Villar and Agustin Fuentes.  Left to cherish her memory is her father: Roberto Fuentes, brother: Roberto Carlos (Analia) Fuentes, sister: Fatima Fuentes, niece and nephews: Zari Carrizales, Jose Rolando Carrizales, Jesus Carrizales and Robert Carlos Fuentes, Jr., paternal grandmother: Irma Fuentes, other relatives and numerous friends.  Patricia will be remembered by many loved ones for her beautiful smile and contagious attitude. She has left behind many people suffering for her loss.

   “The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known DEFEAT, known SUFFERING, known STRUGGLE, known LOSS, and have found their way out of DEPTHS. These persons have an appreciation, sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. May the constant love of caring FAMILY and FRIENDS soften your sadness,  may cherished memories bring you moments of comfort, may lasting peace surround your grieving heart. The family will be receiving friends Monday, November 24, 2014 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5pm to 9pm where a Rosary will be recited at 7pm.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Santo Niño Mission.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am.  Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Roberto Carlos Fuentes, José Rolando Carrizales, Francisco Fuentes, José Luis Fuentes, Rogelio Fuentes, Miguel Fuentes, Ernest Garcia and Robert Lopez.

I had the pleasure of meeting Patty in 6th grade at Dr. J.G. Cigarroa Middle School. I basically 'grew up' with her all through high school. We didn't exactly eat at the same lunch table but everyone knew who Patty was. She was a very bold yet sweet soul. She had this vibrant glow that would shine through her eyes and smile. She was such a beautiful young woman who had a carefree, wild spirit. Although, after graduation some people lose contact and we 'grow up' and lead different lives ---- I will never forget Patty. She will now and forever be one of the many shiny, bright stars that make the face of Heaven so beautiful. My deepest and sincerest condolences to the Fuentes Family, all her friends and especially her mother. May God plant peace and comfort in your hearts and may the Angels help give you strength to move forward each day. Diosito me los cuide. God bless you.
