Oralia Perez(age 90), passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on January 14, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1930 to Nazario and Anastasia Garza in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. She later married Francisco Perez who preceded her in death in 1984. Oralia was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by her children Francisco J. Perez (Carrie), Oralia Perez Cox (Kenneth), Mario Alberto Perez, Ruben Perez (Griselda), Nykole Clarke Knight (Natalie), & Valdemar Perez (Oyuki). She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristen Perez Gomez (Omar), Steven Perez, Priscilla Grace Perez (Ernesto), William C.J. Cox, Samuel Jacob Perez, Valdemar Perez Jr., & Victoria Perez.
Oralia dedicated her life to raising each of her children in a loving and nurturing manner. She started each day early in the morning making sure her family was well clothed, well fed, and ready for the day. And after a long days work she always had the most delicious dinners ready for her family to partake together. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
A celebration of Oralia’s life will be held at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Dr., Laredo, Texas 78041 on Monday, January 25, 2021 beginning at 8:00 am. A Prayer Service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Francisco J. Perez, Ruben Perez, Valdemar Perez, William C.J. Cox, Samuel Jacob Perez, Valdemar Perez Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Mario Alberto Perez.

It’s already been 6 months and yet I’m still heartbroken and weeping just thinking about you, words cannot describe how sad I am to see you go, but I know that you are in a better place and that your at peace now, and always in our hearts.
