A la edad de 88 años, el martes 20 de Septiembre fue llamada a la presencia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Un día 13 de Junio de 1934 nació una pequeña, hija de Don Leopoldo Ramírez y Gregoria Ramírez.  A quien bautizaron con el nombre de Olivia. Fue una niña con mucho carisma y al pasar el tiempo siendo ya señorita conoció a Pedro Vazquez. Contrajeron nupcias el dia 6 de marzo de 1954 hasta el ano en curso 2022 cumpliendo 68 anos de matrimonio. Con ese Gran Amor formaron una hermosa familia al lado de sus 5 hijos, Pedro Antonio, Víctor Manuel, Jaime Alonso, Luis Edmundo y Jose Juan

Su primer Proyecto fue una tienda de abarrotes y juntos trabajaron arduamente para sacar a sus hijos Adelante.  Al pasar los años Olivia se integra a trabajar con la compañía Stanley Home Products como vendedora, pero era gran su desempeño que al poco tiempo se convirtió en jefa de grupo. A pesar de que ella solo contaba con estudios de primaria y sin dominar el idioma inglés, Olivia se convirtió en la vendedora número 1 y fue nombrada vicepresidenta regional al contar con más de 500 personas en su equipo. Olivia era un gran ejemplo para toda la organización de Stanley Home Products  por más de 53 años.

Olivia fue una Excelente Esposa, Madre, Hermana, Hija, Abuela, Suegra y amiga que derrochaba amor a toda su familia y jamás dudaba en ayudar al necesitado.

Su memoria será recordada por su esposo Pedro Vazquez, sus hijos; Pedro Antonio (Silvia), Víctor Manuel (Norma), Jaime Alonso (Martha ), Luis Edmundo (Martha) y Jose Juan (S.Leticia).  Sus Nietos; Erika (Ernesto), Jessica Paola (Mario), Víctor (Diana), Pedro (Cynthia), Sergio (Krystal), Daniel, J.J. Jr., Karis, Krysta, Luis, Andrik, Jaime, Miguel y Carlos. Sus bisnietos; Karen, Luis, Ivan, Alyssa, Julian, Danica, Bella, Gabriela, Sophia, Stella, Lailah y Sergio Andre. Además de sus Hermanos: Leopoldo, Clemen, Juanita y demás familiares y amigos queridos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Leopoldo Ramírez y Gregoria Arizpe de Ramírez; hermana, Hilda Ramírez, y hermano, Eugenio Ramírez.

Descansa en Paz, Querida Oliva. Agradecemos las muestras de cariño hacia ella, por haberle otorgado su amistad y formar parte importante en su vida.

El duelo se recibe el día viernes 23 de septiembre, a partir de las 5 de la tarde hasta las 9 de la noche en la funeraria Fred Dickey, ubicada en 1320 Trey Dr., Laredo, Texas 78041, donde un Rosario se oficiará a las 7 de la noche. Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el día sábado, 24 de septiembre del 2022. El cortejo fúnebre partirá a las 8:30 de la mañana hacia la iglesia San Martin de Porres, ubicada en 1704 Sandman St, Laredo, Texas 78041 para una misa de cuerpo presente a las 9 de la mañana. El sepelio se llevará a cabo después de misa en el cementerio Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Olivia Vasquez was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the age of 88.

She was born the 13 of June of 1934, daughter to Mr. Leopoldo Ramirez and Gregoria Ramirez. She was baptized Olivia. She was born full of charisma and that carried into her youth when she met a young man by the name of Pedro Vasquez. They united in matrimony on the 6^th of March of 1954 and began to build a beautiful family with their children, Pedro Antonio, Victor Manuel, Jaime Alonso, Luis Edmundo and J.J.

Their first family project was a convenience store, and together with her husband, Olivia worked to get their children ahead. Years later, she joined Stanley Home Products as part of their sales team, and in a short period, due to her determination and hard work, she became a sales supervisor. Despite the fact that she had only had education up to grade school and without fully dominating the English language, she was considered top tier salesperson and was named Regional Vice President of Sales after recruiting over 500 people for her sales team. Olivia served as an exemplary employee for the Stanley Home Products organization for more than 53 years.

Olivia was an excellent wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend. Her mark of love will leave an indelible mark in the hearts of her family and her passion for helping any in need will not be forgotten.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Pedro Vasquez; sons, Pedro Antonio (Silvia), Victor Manuel (Norma), Jaime Alonso (Martha), Luis Edmundo (Martha) and J.J. (Leticia); Her grandchildren Erika (Ernesto), Jessica Paola (Mario), Victor (Diana), Pedro (Cynthia), Sergio (Krystal), Daniel, J.J. Jr., Karis, Krysta, Luis, Andrik, Jaime, Manuel and Carlos. Her great-grandchildren, Karen, Luis, Ivan, Alyssa, Julian, Danica, Bella, Gabriela, Sophia, Stella, Lailah and Sergio Andre. She is also survived by her siblings, Leopoldo, Clemen, Juanita and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo Ramirez and Gregoria Arizpe de Ramirez; sister, Hilda Ramirez, and brother, Eugenio Ramirez.

May she rest in peace. The family appreciates the expressions of sympathy and love from those blessed to have been able to share in her life journey.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, September 23, 2022, in the Angelus chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
