He is survived by his children: Joann McCormick, Juan Antonio Castillo, Rebecca Rodriguez, Cynthia Blanquiz, Sam Castillo and Melquiades Castillo III, sister: Anita Cedillo, brothers: David (Dolores) Castillo, Daniel (Graciela) Castillo, Julian (Mary) Castillo and Jose Luis (Martha) Castillo, 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.A vigil will be held at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 9:30am to 11:30am with a Chapel Service at 11:30am. Interment will follow immediately to The Calvary Catholic Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the funeral directors of Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 4502 Thomas Ave. Laredo, TX (956) 723-3611.
