Mario E. Rangel, Sr., 73, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Mr. Rangel worked 35 years for AT&T and retired in 2009. After his retirement, he dedicated himself to being a full-time grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Alfonso Rangel, Efren Ramiro Rangel, Sr., Benito S. Rangel, Homero Rangel, Hector Lorenzo Rangel and sister, Rosalinda Piña.
He is survived by his wife, Araceli Sanchez Rangel; daughter, Clarissa (Gerardo Piña Jr); son, Mario (Adriana Guerra) Rangel, Jr; sisters, Maria A. Rodriguez, Elvia Rangel Vital and Irma Puente; grandchildren, Corina Victoria and Jorge Sebastian; as well as other family members and friends who will greatly miss him.
The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Cremation will be held at a later date.

I worked with Mario for a good 10 years on loop electronics doing fiber optics, he is the one who showed me all about fiber optics splicing, we spend many days and nights working at very odd hours, it was an honor to have crossed paths with Mr. Mario.
