I second my sister Sandy Duncan Buyo thoughts on the outstanding care to the Laredo Nursing staff and our Law Enforcement Colleagues for there support in honoring her funeral escort. Special Thanks to my Niece Romy and Her Mother Lizzett for all the arrangement and making the area very nice for Mom. In loving memory of my dear mother. It is with deep sadness that you leave us but we are comforted knowing that you are now rejoicing in heaven with our Lord Jesus. ?❤️ You fought strong for two years after your stroke and we are thankful to God for allowing us more time with you. ??You will forever remain in our hearts and we thank you for all that you did for us. It was not easy raising 7 children in your early 30’s as a widow with limited resources but you manage to do your very best and for that we are very thankful to you and God. You thought us to be strong and resilient but most of all you brought us to know God through Jesus Christ our Lord. I still can hear you singing and worshipping the Lord day in and day out. You carried your bible everywhere you went and recite it front to back but still struggle to find your place in life. Depression and anxiety took all toll on your mind and body but you continued to fight strong. You were misunderstood but loved more than you know. Even in the midst of this horrible mental illness you manage to keep your head up. You love to cook and get up early in the mornings to ensure we ate breakfast and send us off to school. Your generosity was unique and most humbling. $20 went a long way...to even prepare delicious tamales for the local police and sheriff’s department. Family was important to you and you never stop visiting your mother in Mexico and siblings. You always told us to watch after each no matter what and that we will do. I remember the many weekends we waited hours to cross the bridge to Mexico to visit grandma and family. Tia Juan and Tia Coca thanks for providing support for my mom’s many needs. You never left her side during times of need. All my tias and tíos thank you for all your words of encouragement and for all the fond memories with our mom. But most of all a sincere thanks to my loving sister who never left mom’s side. We were too far away and you took charge of her care. We are forever grateful for advocating for our mom and moving her to a nursing home that provided nothing but excellent care with unmatched compassionate staff. In my years of nursing I have never seen outstanding/excellent care like the one at Laredo Nursing Rehabilitation Center. We are forever grateful to the nursing staff for providing optimal care to my mom. To my loving sister Thanks for making mom your priority and never giving up on her. Your daily visits to the nursing home brought mom much needed comfort. Your love and care for our mom is unmatched. You made many trips to the hospital and ensured mom was well taken care even yelling at the staff from time to time to speed up the process and staying countless nights with mom at the ER, still you reported to your work the next day. Your are the best daughter a mother could ever wish for and the best sister. Love you so much!❤️? To all my siblings thanks for all that you do for our loving mother. Mom you kept us all united and this will continue to be our focus. May the Lord provide eternal rest and peace for you, to always keep you close to our hearts forever. ❤️???Love you mom and you will be forever missed.?❤️?
