Maria Luisa Vasquez,91, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011, at the Laredo Medical Center. Miss Vasquez was preceded in death by her parents: Pedro Vasquez and Visitacion Arrendondo Vasquez, step-mother: Celestina Piña Vasquez, brothers: Felipe, Victor, Jose, Carlitos, Pedro, Gregorio, and Alejandro Vasquez, and sister: Evangelina V. Villarreal. She is survived by her sisters: Emilia Vasquez of Laredo, TX, Carmen V. (Antonio) Sanchez of Rowlett, TX, and Esperanza V. (Jesus) Martinez of Laredo, TX, brother-in-law: Jose Hector Villarreal, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family members will be receiving friends and family tomorrow, Monday, March 21, 2011, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from to funeral home to Christ the King Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev Jose Luis Balderas at 10:00am.
