Maria Lilia Rendon, 96, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
Mrs. Rendon is preceded in death by her husband, Armando Rendon Gonzalez; daughter, Lilita Rendon; son, Armando Rendon; grandchildren, Encarnacion “Chon” Saavedra, Jr., Victor Xavier Cabello, Sergio Ozuna and Armando Ozuna.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dora Elvia (Gerardo) Cabello, Maria Ozuna, Ana Laura Rendon and Alma Sonia (Jimmy) Archer; grandchildren, Alejandra Soto, Christina Cabello, Stephanie Ozuna and Marc Allen Archer; great-grandchildren, Gisela Soto, Daniela Soto, Fernanda Soto and Alexia Ozuna; siblings, Antonia G. de Peña and Blanca Gonzalez, other family members and friends. Special thanks to the nurses at Altus Hospice and Dr. Adonis Zuniga-Goldwater.
The family will receive guests Monday, May 28, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A prayer service will start at 7:00 pm; Pastor Abelardo Peña will officiate. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Jardín de Los Ángeles in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, México.
