Maria G. Tienda, 71, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Laredo, TX. Maria G. Tienda loved spending time with family and grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies include gardening in her lovely garden. She had a passion for animals especially dogs.Mrs. Tienda is preceded in death by her daughter; Norma Elisa Tienda, San Juanita G. Tienda, grandchild; Eduardo Angel Ortega.Mrs. Tienda is survived by her husband of 50 years; Rodolfo Angel Tienda, children;Rodolfo Angel Tienda Jr., Blanca Estella (Zoe) Shaffer, Maria Carolina (Vicente) Gonzalez, Martin (Myrna) Tienda, Alma I. (Ramiro) Bustamante, sisters; Amparo (Raul) Reyes, Lydia (Fructuoso) Mireles, Yolanda Wilson, Rosalinda (Javier) Cordero, 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many family members and friends.The family will be receiving friends and family at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 5pm-9pm, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be on Friday, August 5, 2011at Nuestra Señor Del Rosario Church at 10:00a.m., father Jan Ziemniak Officiating. Pallbearers will be; Ramiro Bustamante, Vicente Gonzalez, Luis G. Tienda, Marco A. Tienda, Rodolfo Tienda, Jr., and Martin Tienda. Interment will follow at The Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
