My most heartfelt condolences to the entire family. I knew Ms. Davalos from Lutheran Social Services where she served as a foster parent with passion, commitment and most importantly with much love. She was an extraordinary lady, always on time with tasks, appointments and everything that was needed to fulfill her foster mother duties. In 2007 we (the agency) recognized her as and outstanding foster parent and nominated her for foster parent of the year... She was lovingly featured in the Laredo morning times. Thank you for your love and commitment Ms Davalos. Rest in peace 🕊️✝️

My deepest condolences to Chayo’s Family. Chayo and I worked for Texas Department of Human Services for 30 years at a time when hard work, loyalty, discretion, confidentiality and moral standards meant something. Chayo’s work ethic was beyond reproach. Family was, of course, her love and priority. May Chayo rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her.
