Obituary

Alicia M. Garza entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the age of 85.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe A. Garza, parents Tomas and Maria L. Morales, siblings Tomas Morales Jr. and Maria Antonia Perez.

Alicia was a strong willed woman who faced many challenges in life but her faith in God was greater to overcome them. Mother you will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Adriana (Vicente) Moreno Jr., Frank G. David, Joseph Michael (Araceli) Garza, Elizabeth Garza (Gilbert Rodriguez) and other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 2219 Galveston St., Laredo, Texas 78043. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Special thanks to Dr. Carlos Casas, Nurses on Wheels Staff, Father Hector Flores, and Father Wojviech Przystasz of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and her caretakers Roxanna Vasquez and Katherine Martinez. We are grateful to you all.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Vincent A. Moreno, Frank David Jr., and Desiree Lanelle David, Bryan Mathew David, Justin Jett David, John Jacob Bernal, Abigail and Isabella Rodriguez, Brittany Morales, Christopher and Maya Garza.
