Marcelino C. Perez

Marcelino C. Perez, 91, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 27, 2011. Mr. Perez worked for REA Express Railroad Company for 40 years. He was a veteran who served in WWII. He loved making life time friends and enjoyed their friendship. His favorite moments were family gatherings and attending church on Sundays. We will always remember his favorite words, Quiereme Mucho and te quiero con toda mi alma. Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his parents; Fortino (Josefa) Perez, sister and brother-in-law; Paula P. (Jesus) Rueda, Brother; Bernardo Perez, Wife; Emma B. Perez, daughter and son-in-law; Sylvia P. (Hector) Rodriguez. He is survived by his daughters; Yolanda P. Chavez, Emma P. (Tony) Garcia, Roxcella P. Gonzalez, Norma P. Lopez, Thelma P. Valdez, Grace P. (+Mike) Farias and Priscilla P. (Gilbert) Martinez. Sons; Roberto M. (Grace) Perez, Humberto Perez, Daniel (Diana) Perez, David (Adriana) Perez, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special thanks to the following people for their dedication, love and support for our beloved father: caretaker Dolores M. Ramirez, Dr. Oscar Gutierrez, other health providers from Laredo Medical Center, Patty of Bronze Star Ambulance and to my family special thanks to Emma, Yolanda, Thelma, and David for being there in his time of need..Visitation will be held Thursday, December 01, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor Gilberto Velez. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 02, 2011 from Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services to Iglesia Cristiana Misericordia, 4519 E. Del Mar Blvd. Prayer service will commence at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at The Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; David Perez, Roberto M. Perez, Humberto Perez, Daniel Perez, Tony Garcia and Gilberto Martinez, Jr. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and The United States Army.
