Manuel Raul Gonzalez, 71, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro (Catalina) Gonzalez; brothers, Alejandro Gonzalez, Jr., Carlos Gonzalez, Hector Gonzalez, Mario Gonzalez and Jose Nicolas Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Miguel Gonzalez and Mario Gonzalez; granddaughter, Leslie Gonzalez; loving companion, Irma Aguirre; siblings, Roberto Gonzalez and Oralia (Rodolfo) Gallardo; sister-in-law, Yolanda Gonzalez, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests, Monday, August 12, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will be held in the Veteran’s Section of the Laredo City Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 of Laredo and flag presentation by the United States Army Honor Guard of San Antonio, TX.

To my dear Primo Raul, even though I live so far away, I will always love and miss you. You were always so kind to me all my life and during my formative years while growing up. Thanks for the many times which I was given to accompany you and your father, Tio Alejandro to the ranch. You were a good brother to my brother, Kenny. Can’t wait to see you in heaven! Love Jimmy
