"Téllo" was a lifelong friend and mentor, to my father, "Leo" Rossel. When we visited our family in Laredo, Dad always tried to make it a point to visit him. To us, he was family. My most sincere condolences go out to the Vasquez family.

Tello's family and mine were very close knit growing up. A treasured memory of my cousin was being a bridesmaid at his wedding. Even though people grow apart and live their lives, Tello will remain in a special part of my heart.

We love you Welo! I will always remember the joy you felt when talking about cars! That was truly your passion! I remember when I was little, you would tell me that you would make it to my 15th birthday and you made it to my baby’s 15th birthday! Thank you for all the laughs and the stories about the army. I will also never forget you always saying my big eyes are beautiful! Love you Welo!! ❤️ Cyndi, Rene, Anthony, Kirstin, Kiley and Andrew
