Luis Gutierrez, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Mr. Gutierrez was an Army Veteran and proudly served his country. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his loving wife: Anita Gutierrez of fifty four years; children: Luis Gutierrez Jr., Anabel Villarreal; grandchildren: Cynthia (Randy) Martinez, Camilo Villarreal Jr.; cousin: Cosme (Guadalupe) Gomez, and friend; Jorge Morales. Family members will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm with a rosary recited at 7:00pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:30am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the United States Army and American Legion Post 59. Funeral arrangements are by Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 4502 Thomas Ave. Laredo, TX 78041.
