Lucio Andres Gutierrez, 27, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018.
Our Andy was full of life always with a smile and wanting to make everyone happy. He was a true lover of family & friends … loved his mother, grandparents and his beautiful daughter Ava Nicole deeply. It was all about Ava Nicole when she was around… he always possessed an infectious smile but the minute Ava encountered the room his smile became brighter than the sun!!! At work, he had many friends that loved him especially when he joked around making everyone laugh!! He loved music, dancing, dining and sports, an avid fan of the Broncos!! He loved eating at his “WELAS”, especially her homemade “albondigas” was his absolute favorite!! Just recently he and his Laredo family visited his family in San Antonio …and created colorful memories with his darling Ava Nicole and great cousin Elliott.
Andy, we will never forget you… you will always be in our hearts for the rest of our lives …we will miss you deeply but we will see you again one day in Heaven when we all meet again!!

Andy is preceded in death by his father, Lucio Gutierrez; paternal grandfather, Juan J. Gutierrez; paternal grandmother, Alicia Gutierrez; maternal great-grandparents, Raul (Ana Maria) Gallegos; paternal great-grandparents, Santiago (Guadalupe) Galvan and uncle, Gregorio Galvan, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ava Nicole Gutierrez; mother, Claudia Nava Galvan; sister, Aly Gutierrez; grandparents, Gregorio (Gloria) Galvan; uncles, Omar Galvan, Joe Montoya, aunts, Ana Montoya, Cristal Galvan, cousins, Louis Davila, Greggy Galvan Andrea Galvan, Josesito Montoya and William Osoria, paternal family members; David (Sandra) Gutierrez, Juan J. Gutiérrez, Jr., Victor D. Gutierrez, Jesus M. Gutierrez, Xóchitl (Luis) Luna and Elodia (Rogelio) Reyes, other relatives and numerous friends.
The family will receive guests today, Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A prayer service will officiate at 7:00 pm. Cremation service will be at a later day.

I am so sorry for the untimely loss of your loved one, and I pray that God will give you strength to get through this difficult time. I hope the scripture at John 5:28, 29 will be of comfort to you: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..."

We are deeply saddened with Andy's passing. Andy grew up with our son Eddie (Jorge and Nora Mendoza) and we have many fond memories of him. May he Rest in Eternal Peace and may Perpetual Light shine upon him.

The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things will passed away"-Revelation 21:3, 4.
