Josefina “Tia China” Ortiz, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Ms. Ortiz is preceded in death by her son: Juan Hector Ortiz, mother: Francisca Ramirez and sister: Maria G. Lopez. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Maria E. (Eduardo) Martinez, Olegaria (Rene) Garcia, Herminia (Oscar) Rodriguez, Ramon Lopez, III, Ricardo (Maria) Lopez, Roberto (Alma) Lopez, Rolando Lopez and Francisco Lopez, other nieces, nephews and numerous relatives. She will be greatly missed.

The family will be receiving guests Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will immediately follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rolando Lopez, Ricardo Lopez, Augustin Esparza, Mario Martinez, Miguel Angel Martinez, Jaime Martinez, Luis Lopez and Rene A. Garcia, III.
