He is preceded in death by his step-father, Antonio Esparza.
Jose is survived by his children, Jose Ramiro Guerra, Naiokie L. Guerra, Anthony (Jessica) Guerra, Alexandra K. Guerra, Jose Javier Guerra; mother, Paula Nieto; siblings, Luis Alberto (Georgina) Esparza, Monica (Andrew Simmons) Esparza, Antonio (Gina) Esparza; grandchildren, Anthony Guerra, Alison Guerra, Castiel Guerra, and Ares Guerra; as well as other family and friends.
The Guerra family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be continuing on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a chapel service will be officiated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery where Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 of Laredo and Presentation of the U.S. Flag will be provided by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
