Jose Dario Lopez, 65, entered into eternal rest, Friday, October 21, 2022. Mr. Lopez was graduate of Martin High School. Jose was dedicated to the United States Marine Corps for 6 years and the Laredo Job Corps for 35 years. Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his mother; Manuela Lopez and brother; Rene Lopez

He is survived by his wife; Marcela Solis, father; Thomas Lopez, children; Jose Dario Lopez, Jr., Sergio Lopez, David Lopez, Kevin Harter, Jennifer Lopez, Lori Cabrera; 8 grandchildren; step children; America Lorenzo, Santos Lorenzo, Jennifer (Taylor) Olsen and their children Daniel Olsen and Sofia Olsen, siblings; Tomas Lopez, Jr., Rene (Rosa) Lopez+, Preciliana (Ramon) Santa Cruz from San Antonio Texas, Thelma (Jesus) Nunez Lopez from Winters Texas, Letticia (Kiney) Gibbs from Winters Texas, Diana (Scott) Brothers from Dallas Texas, Juana (Johnny) Martinez Lopez from Winters Texas, Rosa Lopez (Salvador Lopez) from Tyler Texas, Maria (Bobby Escobar) Treviño from Winters Texas, Bertha (Eddy) Mata from Laredo Texas, Sara (Mario) Esquivel from Winters Texas and Christina Lopez from Laredo, Texas; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, October 24, 2022, in the Angelus chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 8:00 am to 11:45 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Veteran’s Section of the Laredo City Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard and flag presentation will be provided by the United States Marine honor guard. Pallbearers will be: Joe Lopez, Jr., Sergio Lopez, Salvador Valdez, Eddy Mata, Andres Mata and Santos Lorenzo.
