Joel Hugo Gutierrez, 88, entered into eternal rest, Monday, May 22, 2023.  Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his wife; Maria Luisa Castaño de Gutierrez.

He is survived by his children; Joel Hugo (Silvia) Gutierrez, Luis Vicente (Clarisa) Gutierrez, Patricia Gutierrez (Jose Angel) Silva, grandchildren; Silvia Isabel (David Boudin) Gutierrez, Claudia Ivette (Samuel Rodriguez) Gutierrez, Jessica Ivonne Gutierrez, Joel Hugo (Stephanie Zayes) Gutierrez, III., Daniel Benjamin Gutierrez, Luis Gutierrez, Jr., Rosita L. (Alex) Rivera, Jose Angel Silva, Jr., Patricia Mia Silva, great grandchildren; Amelia T. Rivera, Camila L. Rivera and Thomas Rivera.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 29, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from the funeral home to San Agustin Cathedral. Funeral mass will begin at 9:30 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
