Joaquin Longoria, 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 09, 2011, at a local hospital in Laredo, TX.Mr. Longoria was preceded in death by his wife: Maria Lilia “Lily” Longoria.He is survived by his children: Joaquin (Angie) Longoria Jr., Victor (Maria Del Refugio) Longoria, Lily (Edgar) De La Pena, grandchildren: Lilley Denise Gomez, Joaquin Longoria III, Victor Longoria Jr., Jacqueline Longoria, Jeannie Longoria, Jesse Longoria, David Longoria, great-granddaughter: Brittney Gomez and Bella Longoria, sisters: Consuelo Reyes and Maria De La Paz Gurrola, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.The family will be receiving friends and family at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services on Friday, March 11, 2011, from 5pm-9pm, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30am. Pallbearers will be: Joaquin Longoria, Jr., Hector Longoria, Joaquin Longoria, III, Victor Longoria, Jr., Jesse Longoria, Edgar De la Pena and Tekuani Perez.
