Obituary

Jaime Ramon Beltran, 49, was called by the Lord to his final resting place in Heaven on Saturday, August 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ramon (Carolina) Beltran and Dionicio (Felícitas) Flores, aunt, Socorro B. Sanchez and uncle, Jesus Flores. He is survived by his loving parents, Ramon and Rosa Beltran, his sisters, Sandra (Jesse) Esparza and Claudia (Damon Ritchie) Beltran. He is also survived by his beloved nephew, Daniel Esparza, and niece, Carolina Esparza.

Jaime was a faithful servant of the Lord. He volunteered countless hours at his beloved parish San Martín De Porres Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, lector, usher, assistant sacristan and lived his ACTS retreat. He always gave of his time and talent whenever called upon and it gave him great personal satisfaction and joy to love the Lord in every way possible.

Jaime dedicated more than half of his lifetime using his gift of helping others.  He selflessly cared for the sick and elderly in various healthcare facilities when he answered his calling and worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant always impacting the lives of those who knew him in a caring and compassionate way.

Jaime was a talented artist, an excellent cook and loved to travel spending quality time with his family. Jaime will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his ability to comfort others in their time of need and for his dedication to God and his beloved family.

Sandra, This is Annie Escamilla. My deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your brother. Many moons ago before I was married (Ana Maria Lopez), I was Jaime's counselor at Lamar Middle School. Through the years, he would bring a smile to my face seeing him serve the Lord at church. I felt so proud to see him grow into a responsible and well-respected person. May God grant you and your family peace, comfort, and strength during this difficult time.

My husband and I are so sorry for your loss. Your son, statuesque in height, was soft spoken, in receiving parishioners at San Martin De Porres with a friendly, firm handshake and a warm welcome. He was a devoted servant of GOD who embraced his calling without hesitation. His presence in our parish will surely be missed by everyone who knew his presence. Our Lord needed our brother in Christ sooner than expected to serve him in his kingdom. May our Lord continue to comfort your family through this difficult time and let the perpetual light shine on Jaime. Many blessings to your family. ?

Dear Rosa, Ramon, and Family - We loved Jaime dearly. He was such a sterling example of what our Lord asks us all to be; to love, to serve, to give. It is our honor and good fortune to have known Jaime. We can only believe that God called him so early because it was time for Jaime to receive his heavenly reward. Please know that all of you are in our sincere sympathies and prayers. May God bless and comfort you. With love, Josie & Larry Shaw
