On Sunday, January 20, 2013, Isabel Castillo Chavarria went to eternal rest with our Lord Jesus Christ where she will join her grandparents Pedro Garza, Jose Castillo, Maria Castillo and Petrita Castillo. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by all her immediate family and close friends. Isabel had an unmeasureable love towards her family especially her children. She was an exceptional wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Isabel, Isa, Bel, Chabelita or Chab as she was affectionally known by many leaves behind her loving husband of 14 years of marriage, Nando who unselfishly catered to her every need being too small or impossible. She always made it a point to have a yearly family vacation whether it was local, out of town or out of state. She traveled constantly around the state of Texas participating in her Children’s Sports tournaments. Isabel and Nando enjoyed their time alone traveling to Las Vegas, attending local or out of town concerts and sporting events. Even with her extremely busy schedule, she and her family managed several trips during football season to go root for her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Isabel was very social, charismatic, fun loving, caring and loved being around people especially when hosting get togethers at her warm loving home. She especially looked forward to our Annual Christmas Family Posadas. She also enjoyed to go out dancing with her loving husband and was always surrounded by great friends. Isabel was always there for anyone needing a helping hand.Isabel was a very active person juggling work, housework, and all her children’s extra-curricular activities. She made sure that they were competive not just in sports but academically as well. Isabel was very meticulous in the way she dressed, very simple but elegant due to her kin sense of accessorizing. She also made sure that her family was dressed appropriately whether in matching sporting jerseys, cowboy attire being a must, and family gathering whether to church or dinners. She was active in her parish Divine Mercy and as well Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, where she was baptized, received her sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation, blessing on her 15th birthday and received her sacrament of marriage.
