


Idolina V. Guardiola, 91, entered into eternal rest peacefully on, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Idolina was a simple and humble daughter, sister, wife, sister-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She will be missed but never forgotten. “For we walk by faith, not be sight.” II Corinthians 5:7
She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Guardiola; sister, Olivia (Agapito) Morales; parents, Alejandro Gutierrez & Margarita Gutierrez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Luis Guardiola (Dora) Jr., Hector Guardiola (Lucia), Tony (Maricela) Guardiola, Maria Luisa (Ulises) Soler, Ricardo (Laura) Guardiola, Aida (Michael) Puig; grandchildren, Luis Eduardo (Visana) Guardiola, Alejandro Guardiola, Alberto Guardiola, Diana (Greg) Padilla, JuliAnn (Nate) Jackson, Leanna (Andrew) Dorsey, Montserrat Guardiola, Claudette Guardiola, Anneliese Guardiola, Ulises (Lauren) Soler, Jr., Tanya Marie (Scott) Lawson, Christina (Freddy) Vera, Michael J. Puig II, Christopher (Anna Laura) Puig; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alejandro (Elvira) Gutierrez, Graciela Gutierrez; as well as numerous other family and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Monday, September 5, 2022, in the Angelus chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 2219 Galveston St, Laredo, TX 78043. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Luis Guardiola, Alejandro Guardiola, Alberto Guardiola, Ulises Soler, Jr., Michael J. Puig II, and Christopher Puig. Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddy Vera, and Greg Padilla.
