Obituary

Humberto Rodriguez Jr., 79, entered into eternal rest,  Friday, June 28, 2024. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents, Humberto G. Rodriguez and Emma V. Rodriguez; siblings, Emma Cecilia (Hector) Gallego, and Gloria Esther Urbano and brother in law, Oscar Gallegos.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years of marriage, Jacqueline Graciela Rodriguez; children, Clarissa (Carlos) Gutierrez, Lizette Palacios, Erika (Roberto) Cedillo, Cynthia (Roberto) Flores and Humberto (Ashely) Rodriguez III; grandchildren, Carolina Judith Gutierrez, Carlos Gutierrez, Jr., Ernesto Roberto Palacios, Jr., Christopher Devin Palacios, Michael Alexander (Ellie) Palacios, Sophia Anahi Cedillo, Camila Norma Flores, Roberto Daniel Flores, Jr., Emily Katherine Rodriguez, Abigail Felicity Rodriguez and Alessandra Addison Rodriguez; great granddaughter, Layne Grey Palacios; siblings, Olga N. Gallegos, Rosa (Hector) Rodriguez, Juan Manuel Rodriguez and Anna Laura Botello; brother in law, Frank Urbano; mother in law, Isabel R. Palacios; as well as numerous sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

A memorial service will be held at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Inurnment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

Mr Rodriguez was a very Fine man . I met him while working for the UP he was a van driver then . We had many great conversations. His family was so blessed to have him.
