
Mr. Davila proudly served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 59. He is preceded in death by father: Jose C. Davila, mother: Amalia T. Davila, siblings: Homero Trevino, Dora D. Lopez, Antonia Peña, Concepcion Moran, Librada Degollado and Jesus Davila.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years of marriage: Gloria G. Davila, children: Dora (George) Tays, Elvira (Juan F.) Ortegon, Oralia (Jose Eliver) Montalvo, Veronica D. Gonzalez, Leticia Davila, Gloria M. (Manuel D.) Solis and Horacio Davila, Jr., grandchildren: Edith Adriana (Abel) Garcia, Jose E. (Jackie) Montalvo, Juan F. (Allision) Ortegon, Jr., Debra L. (Joe Alfred) Ochoa, George E. Tays, Manny Solis, Brenda D. Davila, Mayra A. Davila, Ashley Renee Guerra, Jonathan P. Solis, Jeanette Elaine Montalvo, Horacio (Trey) Davila, III and Kimberly R. Davila, great-grandchildren: Mateo I. Ortegon, Nayeli A. Castillo, Mia I. Ortegon and Guiliana Nicole Davila. Also surviving Mr. Davila is his brother: Gustavo (Jesusa) Davila, sister-in-law: Zulema G. Lopez, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Arturo and Dr. Laura Garza-Gongora, Altus Hospice, his caregiver: Magdalena Rodriguez and Deacon Alberto Brizuela.
Pallbearers will be: Jose E. Montalvo, Juan F. Ortegon, Jr., George E. Tays, Manny Solis, Jonathan P. Solis, Horacio (Trey) Davila, III, Joe Alfred Ochoa and Abel Garcia. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and flag fold presentation by the United States Navy.
