Timeline for Hilbert Fernndez

Hilberto Fernandez passed away February 18,2023, at age 65 in his hometown Laredo,TX , due to health complications.
Hilberto managed his illness with a lot of strength and faith, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by both his children, siblings and nephew/nieces, who he loved so dearly. Hilberto was a strong and active man in his early young days and all throughout his life. He really enjoyed sports and being active. He enjoyed playing softball, soccer, and even took lessons in karate. He really admired having his trophies on display in his home.
Hilberto was a hard worker, for many years he was employed in City Ready Mix as a project manager, his last employment was working for Asash Pest Control. Along the way Hilberto had many co-workers he worked with that became lifelong friends. When Hilberto started battling with his illness and started really putting his faith in God, his relationship with both his children grew stronger, which led to both of them helping him along the way with comfort from the Bible. Hilberto was so encouraged by both of his children, that he would call often just to get reassured and encouraged that he was not alone and that God was there to help him along the way. All he needed to do was put effort in praying and meditating on the Word of God, thankfully both his children were able to guide him and would pray often with him over the phone. His daughter Linda took control of getting prepared for this day along with the help of his sister Jovita Mena and his son Gilbert Fernandez, with doing so his family and children have felt comfort knowing that Hilberto will no longer be suffering or be in pain.
He is preceded in passing by his wife Norma Lydia Fernandez; Parents Martiniano and Emelia Fernandez; Sister Carolina Fernandez.
Hilberto Fernandez is survived by his son Gilbert Fernandez.Jr, wife Heather Fernandez, grandchildren Spencer, Norma, Joshua, Sophi, Micah, and Elisha; Daughter Linda Fernandez Galaviz, husband Nathan Galaviz, grandchildren Natalyn, and Eva; Siblings Jose Fernandez, Rogelio Fernandez, Veila Saucedo, Jovita Mena, Martin Fernandez; Nephew/nieces Rogelio Fernandez Jr., Jose Luis Saucedo, Martin Fernandez Jr., Jovita Mena, Juanita Mean, Erica Barzola, Jessica Garza, Vicky Saucedo, Velia Saucedo, and Elisa Saucedo.
