Hermelinda M. Hastings, 91, was called by the Lord on Friday, March 24, 2017.

Ms. Hastings is preceded in death by her husband: John E. Hastings and sister: Maria M. Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister; Olga (+William H.) Foster, nieces; William (Dana) Foster, Jr., Peggy (William) Thomas and Juanita Queen, great-grand nephews: Steven (Celia) Queen and Michael Foster, great-grand nieces: Jeannette (Anthony) Mendoza, Sareena (Enrique) Segovia and Mandy (Eric) Cantu, great-great-grand nieces: Katherine Queen, Brooklyn Cantu and Madeline Cantu, great-great-grand nephews: Evan P. Mendoza and Brandon Queen.

The family of Ms. Hastings wishes to acknowledge with heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Oscar Gutierrez and staff.

The family will be receiving guests Monday, March 27, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  A discussion will commence at 7:00 pm.    Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017.  Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 am to the City Cemetery for interment.

Sentimos mucho la pérdida de su ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo en Revelacion o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios limpiara toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no será más". Y en Hechos 24:15 dice que "va ha haber una resurreccion". Entonces muy pronto Jehova Dios nuestro creador eliminara toda la maldad y el sufrimiento. Además nos dice que tiene el deseo de devolverles la vida a nuestros seres queridos que hayan muerto.
