Hector Lopez, 60, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 1, 2020.
Hector was a kind, generous person who loved welcoming everyone to his home. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. It was his nature to be giving, he was an incredible person and he will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Suzy Lopez; parents, Sixto and Maria Lopez.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Hector (Eduvina) Lopez Jr., Ibarr (Maria) Lopez and Dariel Lopez; grandchildren, Hector, Eliana, and Mia Lopez; siblings, Jose Luis (Guadalupe) Lopez, Raquel Gutierrez, Ester (Guillermo) Vela, Sixto (Micaela) Lopez, Concepion Lopez, Lucia (Luis) Salazar; also survived by nephews, nieces and other family members.
The family will have a private viewing, Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services chapel. A chapel service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
For the safety of the family and the public. The family will be live streaming the services at www.freddickey.com on both days of the funeral services.

Mi mas sentido pesame a la Fam. Lopez por tan sentida perdida, personalmente se que no hay palabras para aliviarles su dolor. Hector estara en mi mente por haber sido ese gran ser humano que todos hemos conocido. Por su hospitalidad y bondad para con todos. El siempre estuvo ahi cuando mi hermana mas lo necesito, y tambien se que estuvo ahi para todo aquel que un dia le busco, pues no solo se ocupo de la crianza de sus hijos, sino tambien le ayudo con los que no eran suyos a salir adelante, un merito que no cualquiera hace. Ante la imposibilidad de hacerlo personalmente, desde aqui te digo: Buen viaje cuña'o !!. P.S. There is a green, big and beautiful park in heaven where one day I strongly believe GOD will bring us all together.

It was my pleasure to have met Hector. I met Hector at Christen in 1973. In 1984 he introduced me in to the oil field and was my mentor for many years. He is the Best of the Best and will for sure go to heaven. Goodbye friend. Our prayers are with his family.

We didn’t see you die, cause you were far away, but you were always in our hearts and there you’ll always stay! You left your childhood memories imbeded in our minds, never to be forgotten throughout our daily lives. Hector was a nice friend that I've had the pleasure of meeting since 1973 at Christen middle school. In 1984 he introduced me to the oil field and was my mentor in the flow back department. Best of the Best for sure going to Heaven. Goodbye friend

He was the man that taught me to understand our industry and value a person for being more than an employee and a co-worker. He was more than a co-worker. He was my friend!
