Gualberto “Güero” Barrera, 47, entered into eternal rest on, Thursday, February 3, 2022.
He was a very generous, loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He was quick to help others in need and would always put others first. He was a hard working person with a lot of admirable traits, and who was quite the culinary enthusiast who enjoyed cooking.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 25 years, Melissa Y. Barrera; children, Valeria Barrera, Gualberto (Alexa Parhm) Barrera, Jr., Carlos Gerardo (Zamyhra) Barrera, Bernice B. Barrera, Alina G. Barrera, and Merissa R. Barrera; parents, Gerardo & Judith Barrera; siblings, Alain G. (Cristina) Barrera, Judith (Miguel) Becerra; grandchildren, Audre Parhm, Kiarthur, Darion Barrera, Kaiden Blue Cisneros, Zanyla, Carlos Jr., Carmelo John Barrera; nieces and nephews, Miguel, Israel, Andrea, Roel Becerra, Elaine C., and Alain Gerardo Barrera, Jr., brothers-in-law, Presciliano “Picho” Bryand, and Rene R. Bryand; as well as other family and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Cremation will be held at a later date.
