Mr. Velasquez is preceded in death by his wife, Armandina Velasquez; son, Jesus Velasquez; siblings, Matias Velasquez, and Sylvia Holguin.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Maria Velasquez, David (Grey) Velasquez, Jose (Roxanna) Velasquez, Leticia (Hector) Tijerina, and Antonio Velasquez; grandchildren, Hector Tijerina Jr., Brianna Tijerina, Jesse Velasquez, Jessica Velasquez, David Velasquez Jr., Daniel Velasquez, Robert Velasquez, Zulyn Velasquez, and Paola Velasquez; siblings, Maria Chapa, Simon (Alicia) Velasquez, Juan Velasquez, Graciela Velasquez, and Laura Duarte.
The family will be receiving guests Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Prayer Service will start at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Christ Worship Center. The funeral mass will start at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
