Graciela M. Gutierrez peacefully passed away on February 26th in Laredo, Texas at the age of 89.

She is survived by her brother Alejandro (Elvira) Gutierrez Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Alejandro and Margarita Gutierrez, sisters Olivia (Agapito) Morales, Idolina (Luis) Guardiola and nephew’s Sergio (Irma) Morales and Homero Morales.

She was loved and cared for by her niece, Maria Luisa (Ulises) Soler and family.  She was always surrounded by other nieces and nephews.  She loved spending time these last few years with her sister Idolina, nieces, nephews and her devoted caregiver Mari. Tia Chela as she was known by all was a loving and caring aunt.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 7:00 AM at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at San Luis Rey Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 9:00 AM. The procession will depart that morning at 8:30 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Luis Guardiola, Jr., Tony Guardiola, Ricardo Guardiola, Roberto Garcia, Michael J. Puig, Ulises Soler, Jr., David Gutierrez and Rey Gutierrez.

Honorary pallbearers are: Hector Guardiola, Michael Puig, Alex Gutierrez, Eddi Gutierrez, Agapito Morales, Jr and Ulises Soler.
