Gerardo Gaytan, 63, entered into eternal rest, Friday, July 5, 2024.  Mr. Gaytan is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Gaytan and Laurencia Castillo Gaytan; brother Manuel Gaytan and father and mother in law, Santana Rodriguez and Alicia Rodriguez.   He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Rodriguez Gaytan; children, Juan Jose Rodriguez and David Rodriguez; grandson, Juan Jose Rodriguez, III; siblings, Amalia (Javier) Bañuelos, Jose (Angeles) Gaytan, Carmen (Luis) Rodriguez, Luz Gaytan, Angel (Elena) Gaytan, Carlos (Gloria) Gaytan, Victor Hugo Rosas, Laura (Victor) Jimenez; grandchildren, Ashley, Leslie, Victoria, and David Rodriguez; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous family members and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.  A celebration of life service will be held at 9:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
