Francisco Gutierrez

October 4, 1923 - December 20, 2009

Francisco Gutierrez, 86, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009. Mr. Gutierrez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and lived most of his life in Laredo, Texas. He served in the military service of the United States of America. Mr. Gutierrez was preceded in death by his sister and brother in law Guadalupe (Rumaldo) Rodriguez, his son Francisco Javier Gutierrez, his father Feliciano Gutierrez and his mother Rosario Conde De Gutierrez. He is survived by his wife Juanita Gutierrez; his children Rosario Gutierrez Yell, Gerardo (Raquel) Gutierrez, Maricela (Raul) Villegas, Jr. and Luz Maria (Manuel) Berber; his brother, Feliciano (Sylvia) Gutierrez; his grandchildren Laura, Jessie, Giovanna & Marlin Berber, Natalia Gutierrez, Zelina Escobedo, Ricardo (Jessica) Ramirez, Jr., Melissa L. Ramirez, Roberto C. Ramirez, Daniel Gutierrez, David Gutierrez; his great grandchildren Denise Duran, Celso Duran and Ricardo Ramirez, III.; also nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family would like to thank Regent Care Center Staff and Star Ambulance & Staff for the special care given to Mr. Gutierrez. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 24, 2009 from Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services to Blessed Sacrament Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Gutierrez will be buried with Full Military Honors.
