Filiberto Javier Trujillo, 71, was born on August 15, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Filiberto Trujillo and Maria Dora Ramirez. He lived all of his life in Laredo, Texas.

He graduated from Martin High School and attended two years of college at Laredo Community College Vocational Education Program. After graduation he worked at the Hilton Hotel and La Posada Hotel. He also worked for L.I.S.D and U.I.S.D for 25 years until his retirement in 2016.

Mr. Trujillo left to be with the Lord on Monday, July 8, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years of marriage, Alicia Alejandro Trujillo and brother, Felipe Jose Trujillo.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Stacey Joann Trujillo SantaCruz; son in law, Andres Fernando SantaCruz; two grandchildren, Jaelyn Alexzandra SantaCruz and Cristian Andrew SantaCruz; sister, Delia Trujillo; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members that will greatly miss him.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, July 14, 2024, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
