My deepest condolence to the Kramer family. Mrs. Kramer was an amazing lady and will truly be missed. I got to meet Mrs. Kramer when I was one of the assistant directors of the Golden Spurs. I got to know her and learned a lot from her during my visits with her and during our daily phone calls. I lost touch with Mrs. Kramer after sometime, but she was and will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Betty, Fred, Gogi, Angie, and the entire Kramer and Zamora families, Your amazing mom, sister, friend was a beautiful gift wrapped in gold, in spurs, in bathing suits, and in blue. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The only true gift is a potion of thyself," and "Estella" gave of herself day after day, year after after year, and time after time, to the young people of Laredo. She practiced a commitment of excellence and guided each and every one towards being a success in life. She was the gift that could unwrap skills and abilities in her students and make them confident, productive citizens. She was the woman who had a vision for performance and inspired countless women and men who now entertain with leadership, dedication, and service. Her dream continues and expands in circles around the globe. Her dream became a lasting legacy! Thank you for sharing your precious mom as a gift to us all. And now she is in the arms of the Lord still sending her rays of love down to all and still wrapped in shining gold, in spurs, in bathing suits, and in blue. My heart grieves with you and I send my love to each of you as your mom gave her love to so many and especially to each of you, her most precious family. To All the Kramer Family, Your Mom was an AMAZING LADY and we three Castillo girls all share many fond memories of her. We've all become well educated ladies and in part it is because of her dedication and her belief in us. From the many visits to the Lake House, to the many functions and to the High School out of town trips spent in her company, we owe her our deepest gratitude. We were privileged to have had her in our lives. Praying that your family will find comfort in your memories of her, and in the knowledge that others are missing her too. Wishing You Peace and Healing from San Diego, CA, Dr. Maria (Nellie) Castillo, OBGyn Linda C. Castillo, Retired Elem. Always be the best.... my memory is that she would always call me by my full name “Norma Linda.” I will always think of her as my greatest mentor!

I am deeply sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Mrs. Kramer was my P.E. teacher when I attended L. J. Christen Jr. High School in 1963. I assisted her during P.E. class by being her 'timekeeper' during times when the other students ran a race and she recommended me for the Martin High School pep squad the following year. She was an amazing lady. May she rest in peace in God's heavenly kingdom.

My deepest condolences to Ms. Kramer's family and to her devoted friends. As a former Golden Spur, she allowed me to stand on her shoulders so I could see beyond my familiar world. As a teenager trying to find my way, she was my North Star. I am forever grateful. Her passing marks the end of A True Mustang Legend! ?
