Steve and I became good friends when we both attended LCC, I was always amazed with his calm demeanor and his sense of humor and his ability to bring calm when it was needed. I was shocked to read about his passing, please accept my sincere condolences to the entire Gonzalez family, I pray that you find comfort in this most difficult time. May Steve rest in peace.

Sandra and Family, I wish I could have made it out tonight to celebrate Esteban’s life. Thank goodness for virtual as I got to join you all online. He was the best God Father to me and will surely be missed. To all those times I drove him crazy as a little kid yet he never said no to babysitting us or taking us out for breakfast. Sending you, Andy, and Joanna a big whole hug! Love you all!!

NUESTRO MÁS SENTIDO PÉSAME PARA LA FAMILIA GONZÁLEZ Y QUE DIOS BENDIGA SU ETERNO DESCANSO DE ESTEBAN STEVE GONZÁLEZ

Dad was a man of many names to many people. He was always working relentlessly for his family and joked about becoming a millionaire when he retired with his investments lol… we all know he was full of integrity and by the book- trying to keep his professional side as private as possible. Ironically, you can catch him on a few episodes of that “Border Wars” show, airing pretty much everywhere… if you were lucky enough to see it, he was also the subject of a viral meme a few years ago (he didn’t know it, though). Anyway, dad was a stand up guy. He joked with and cared about many people, it’s easy to see how many people are coming through to show love after his passing. We all love you, dad. Thank you everyone for all your help and support.

A Ture American Patriot, words can't describe how much you will be missed at work. You loved serving our Beautiful Country with dignity and respect. Famous quote from Esteban " I Bleed Red, White and Blue". Thank you for all the laughs and great times we enjoyed together.  We did not get to say goodbye, but I know you got your six from up above. May you  Rest In Peace and we will take it from here Chato.

Chato, It's starting to hit us that you're gone. You may not have known it, but you left a big impact on all of us. Working alongside you was an honor. Your work ethic, your jokes, your laugh, your funny sayings - you made the shift fun. Work won't be the same without you. My deepest condolences to your family. I hope Esteban's family finds strength through this very difficult time. Know that everyone who worked with him loved him dearly and that we celebrate his life by never forgetting all the good moments we have in our hearts about our dear friend. Chato, we will honor your memory always.

Marco A. Hernández
