Chapa, 85 yrs., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.Mr. Chapa was preceded in death by his son: Victor Lauro Chapa.He is survived by his wife: Graciela Chapa, children: Erasmo (Sonia) Chapa, Graciela (Raul) Bahena, Ferman (Nancy) Chapa, Juan (Elsi) Chapa, Selma Chapa, David (Patricia) Chapa, Sylvia Montemayor, Ethelvina (Alberto) Alvarado and Alicia (Jose) Lozoya, sister: Minerva Sanchez, 23 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.A funeral mass for Mr. Chapa will be celebrated on Saturday morning, March 23, 2013, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church at 9:00am. Everyone is encouraged to meet at the church. A visitation will be held on the same day, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremations Services from 5pm to 9pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Interment will be held at a later date at the Panteon Municipal Los Colorados de Abajo, Vallecio, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.If anyone wishes to make a donation in lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made out to the American Cancer Society.Funeral Service arrangements have been entrusted to Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 4502 Thomas Ave, Laredo, TX 78041.
