Erasmo Rodriguez, Jr., 81, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
Mr. Rodriguez was a devoted husband, father, brother and educator.
He was a special education teacher and director for the Special Olympics for 30 years and always took great joy in helping others.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, of 52 years of marriage, Elsa Rodriguez; children, Anna Liza Rodriguez and Erasmo Jude (Kimberly) Rodriguez; granddaughter, Kaylee and his sister, Maria A. Lopez. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Carlos Casas, Dr. Humberto Varela, the staff at Retama Manor West, Nurses on Wheels and caregiver Pedro.
The family will receive guests Monday, February 25, 2019, fro 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. The funeral mass will start at 10:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Lopez, Juan J. Lopez, Wilfredo Lopez, Jr., Adam Lopez, Juan E. Martinez, Arnulfo Martinez, and David Guerra.
