Became friends when Eloy came to solve our problems at Customs and Border Protection. He covered all the bridges and always dependable. The last time we visited, he greeted us at Border Bingo. Will miss his friendship.

I have so many memories of Pops. He was always there when we gathered at the house. He was always smiling. He always made sure to tell us how proud he was that we were together as friends. My fondest memory is from 1997, when I moved to Dallas to live with Eloy. Before we left, Pops came out and prayed with us. Not just a quick prayer before a meal, but a true moment of blessing. That stayed with me. It was simple, but powerful, just like Mr. Rendon was. He took great care of himself and carried that same discipline into everything he did. He quietly taught us to do the same, work hard, aim high, and live up to our potential. That kind of example doesn’t fade. Pops already had a legacy and taught us to build one of our own by always doing the right thing, believing in God, and never giving up. Peace and Love to the Rendon family in the days ahead. Puro Amor

Sinceremante, Maria Rosa Escobedo Dallas/Fort Worth
