He is survived by his wife of 35 years of marriage, Eva Leticia Benavides; children, Mario (Sandra) Benavides, Jr., Eduardo Benavides Martinez and Cynthia (Hugo) Salazar; grandchildren, Gabriela Alexis Benavides, Mario Benavides, III, Alejandra Leticia Salazar and Hugo Andres Salazar. Don Mario is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
