Diana Margarita Peña, 57, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 6, 2019.

“Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 NLT

Ms. Peña is preceded in death by her parents, Leandro (Josefina) Blanco and brother, Juan E. Blanco.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amanda Christine Peña (Eduardo Jimenez) and Arnold Peña; grandchildren, Eduardo Jimenez, II, Emma Jimenez, Eileen Jimenez, Avany Peña and Azarel Peña; siblings, Leandro H. Blanco and Nora Alicia (Rene) Cortes. Also surviving Ms. Peña are nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Laredo Medical Center ICU nurses, Dr. Nan, Dr. Sanchez, Dr. Zavala, Dr. Mcnutt and Dr. Camero for providing excellent care to Ms. Peña.

The family will be receiving guests Monday, December 9, 2019, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Religious Service will start at 7:00 pm. Cremation service will be held at a later date.
