Obituary

David M. Ramirez, 60, of Laredo, Texas, entered Heaven’s gate on August 5, 2022.

David was a loving husband and father, brother and son, uncle, brother-in-law, and a  kind friend to all.  David enjoyed  the ranch especially hunting during dove season. He loved to entertain family and friends at the ranch especially for Easter. Also, David was a great cook. He enjoyed smoking briskets, cooking carne asada, and  pickling escabeche and sauerkraut for us to enjoy. Lastly, he worked  for 33 years in the trucking industry where he took great pride in his job up until he retired. David will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his brother Alonzo L. Ramirez, Jr.

David is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Lamar G. Ramirez and his 3 children and 2 grandchildren. David M. (Claudia) Ramirez, Jr.,  Carlos A. Ramirez, and Amanda N. Ramirez;  grandchildren Anthony and Aaron Ramirez, his parents Alonzo and Amelda Ramirez and his sister Lourdes (Judd) Gilpin, sister-in-law Martha (Alonzo +) Sepulveda Ramirez, numerous nephews, nieces, and relatives.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jose R. Garcia and the ICU nurses at Doctors Hospital for caring for their father.
