David Garcia, 59, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
David aka “Disco Dave” was a J.W. Nixon graduate of 1980. He also attended Laredo Junior College and TAMIU. David was an avid golfer and played high school golf and also at Laredo Junior College. His other hobbies included cooking and he was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. David held several jobs throughout his life. Those jobs included working for the Laredo Country Club, Casa Blanca Golf Course and finally retired as an international bridge clerk at the Texas Mexican Railway. He also was a dog lover and looked after his beloved dogs “Astro” & “Chiquita”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto & Angelica Garcia.
David is survived by his sisters, Diana (Mando, Jr.+) Villarreal, Veronica (Arturo) Villanueva; brothers, Roberto (Alicia+) Garcia, Jr., and Ramiro R. (Norma) Garcia; as well as numerous other family and friends.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
