Obituary

Our beloved mother, Dalia Evans, 77, entered to her eternal rest on Monday, February 25, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Evans was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family.  Her strong devotion to them and her Catholic faith were her greatest traits.  She was a skilled seamstress and loved baking.  Mrs. Evans was a compassionate, kind, and loyal woman.  Her steadfast love and gentle smile will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Her greatest treasure is her family especially her soul mate, her husband and is now embracing him in eternity.

Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her husband, Abra T. “Sonny” Evans.

Left to cherish her memory are children; Michael T. (Rosalinda) Evans, Cilia (Vitelio) Flores, and Lisa (Juan Jose) Chavez; grandchildren, Linda, (Humberto) DeLeon, Kimberly (Chris) Idrogo, Kristy N. Evans, Victor A. Flores, Vanessa M. Flores, Clarissa A. Chavez and Carina A. Chavez; great-grandchildren, Atlas Idrogo, Dylan Sanchez and Nathan Moncivais; siblings, Ramon Sciaraffa, Salvador Sciaraffa and Margarita Martinez along with numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  A holy rosary will be recited at 9:00 am.  Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
