Obituary

Dalia Diana Bondoc

June 18, 1953 – October 8, 2021

Dalia D. Bondoc, our beloved matriarch, was called to be with our Lord on October 8, 2021. She passed away in the loving company of her husband and 5 children.

Dalia was born in Laredo, Texas on June 18, 1953. Her joy came from spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Dalia’s love, as always, extends to all those she opened her home to throughout her life. Dalia was an innate caregiver who never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer a warm meal. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her unconditional love, warm hugs, and delicious food.

Dalia was preceded in death by her parents, Leonides and Lilia Navarro; sister, Gloria De Leon; and brothers, Leonides Navarro Jr., and Leonardo Navarro.

Dalia is survived by her husband of 51 years, Benito Antonio Bondoc Sr., and loving family; San Juanita L. Bondoc, Benito Bondoc Jr. (Veronica), Benjamin Bondoc (Denise), Bernardo Bondoc (Griselda), Baldomero Bondoc (Monica), Brenda Lee Bondoc, Aracelia Cruz, and her 20 grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters Eudelia Cervantes, Graciela Bundoc, Mirta Jimenez, and Martha Navarro, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to Donnath Garza, Zulema Sanchez, and to the staff at Methodist Hospital, Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, PAMS Specialty Hospital, and Northeast Baptist Hospital for taking such great care of Dalia.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, October 15, 2021, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Fred Dickey Funeral Services, 1320 Trey Dr. where a Vigil of the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, October 16, 2021 at 9 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Church.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the funeral service professionals at Fred Dickey Funeral Services, 1320 Trey Dr., Laredo Texas 78041, (956) 723-3611.
