Cruz Hernandez, 68, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 28, 2021.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, in-law and a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents, Solano (Maria Ciria) Hernandez; siblings, Jose Angel Hernandez, Javier Hernandez, Santos Hernandez and Solano Hernandez, Jr.; parents-in-law, Francisco (Maria) Cabello.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Margarita Hernandez; children, Roxanne (Jacob) Buentello, Cruz (Daisy) Hernandez, Jr. and Paul Michael Hernandez; 4 grandchildren, Christian, Kara, Carlo, Kayla and Chanel “Coco”; siblings, Maria Christina (Marcelo) Urbina, Ciria Hernandez, Leticia (Becky) Hernandez, Susie Hernandez, Mati (Jose) Garcia and Gerardo Hernandez, numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation will start at 7:00 am. A Holy Rosary will be recited 8:30 am. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:00 am to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Funeral mass will start at 10:30 am.
Interment will follow at the Veteran’s Section of the Laredo City Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Laredo Honor Guard and presentation of the U.S. flag provided by the U.S. Air Force.
