Catarino is predeceased by his wife, Elida Govea; parents, Catarino & Maria de la Luz Govea; brothers, Frank Govea, Cirilo Govea; sisters, Margarita G. Rubio, Trinidad Aguirre, Casilda Govea, Maria de la Luz G. Villarreal; nieces & nephews.
He is survived by his siblings, Jesus (Graciela) Govea, Virginia (+Luis) Galindo; nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive guests Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, Laredo, Texas. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Laredo, Texas. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frank Arriaga, Christopher Martinez, Carlos Rubio, Saul Rubio, Sammy Rubio, Stephen Rubio, Ernesto Rubio, and Armando Pena. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesus Govea, Oscar Govea, and Juan Rubio.
