Cary Allen Zipprian, 62, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Mr. Zipprian is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Gordon and Frances Zipprian, and his father-in-law, Pedro Gonzalez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Zipprian; children, Jennifer Lauren (Omar Garza Jr.) Zipprian and Andrew Joseph Zipprian; siblings, Charles (Katy) Zipprian, Carla (Roger) Aldridge, James Zipprian, and Carolyn (George) Bradshaw; mother-in-law, Olga Gonzalez; as well as his nieces and nephews: Mathew, Daniel, Chance, Michael, Megan, Amber, Christine, LJ, John, Gala, Shelby, Jr., Peter, Randy, Cesar, Chanel, Weston, and other family members and friends who will greatly miss him.
Cary was born in Corpus Christi, TX, and lived there until his family moved to Rosenberg, TX, at a young age. He graduated from Lamar High School and later began his career in the oil industry. In 1990, he married his beloved wife, and together they spent 35 wonderful years celebrating life and raising two children. Cary was a hardworking man who always provided for his family and loved ones.
He was known for his unwavering love and support of his children and family. He found joy in cheering on his loved ones from the sidelines and never missed a sporting event. He was a fierce and loyal fan of his children and, later, of his nieces and nephews in their various endeavors. Cary also made a lasting impact in the community through his service as a sports referee for over 10 years.
He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with his brother James and his son. Many trips were filled with laughter, life lessons, and cherished memories — often returning home with prize trophies.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Zipprian, James Zipprian, Charles Zipprian, Mike Stavinoha, Robert Bayer, Rene Gonzalez, OJ Cabrera, and Angel Cabrera.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Al Espinoza, Roger Aldridge, Omar Garza Jr., Alberto Gonzalez, Rodney Young, and Weston Wleczyk.
Cary’s generous heart and strong love for his family will live on in the lives of all those he cherished and supported.
Special thanks to St. Jude’s Home Health for their care and support during the final years of his life.
